Imagine this: in 10, 20, 30 years, how much will it be worth?

"Linda, I then Ross, 1960"

The photo above was taken 55 years ago, in 1960. Doesn't it look like fun?

If we imagine that the cute girl on top on the motorcycle (the one sitting in the middle) was 5 when this photo was taken, she is now 60. Maybe her name is Lucy.

It is likely that now she is a mom to a couple of accomplished adults, maybe even a grandma to a few lucky grandkids. But in this photo she is just sitting between Linda and Ross, and she is likely the oldest of her two siblings.

Now think about this:

If someone offered to buy this photo, for what price do you think Lucy would sell it? How much do you think this photo is worth to her?

We don't know Lucy, or if Lucy's even her real name, but of course we know the answer to this question - that's easy: this photo is priceless. It's value is not monetary but deeply connected to her feelings. Photos are not about ink on paper or pixels on a screen, they're about memories, relationships and family treasures that pass on to newer generations as life cycles end and others begin.

I know we tend to think we have time. That tomorrow we will take care of this and that, things we really want to do, live and provide to our kids. But the truth is, time is not guaranteed.

And with that said, I want to urge you to think about your life in 10, 20, 30 years. Think about your kids graduating high school, moving out, getting married, becoming parents themselves... Now ask yourself: do you have all the photos you want of your loved ones? Do you have all the memories you want with them? I will go out on a limb here and say that you don't, because I don't either. I bet that you, like me, can always have another photo, another hug and another moment with them.

I want to help you do a little bit more. I want you to stop for a second, and enjoy what you have built: your family, your life, your present.

I have a sale going on (which is something I never do), and you can get in on it when you get your photos done this month (October). With the sale you'll pay no session fee ($300 value) and also receive $100 in product credit and 25 extra holiday cards with any card purchase. I can't offer this all the time, so this deal will be gone soon.

If you want to celebrate your family now, click here and let me know. I will be very excited to hear from you.

Much love,

-Laine
