The Picture of Gratitude - Photographing Deb Brown in EdinaTouch Your Client’s Heart is a unique and much needed business in today’s technologically-connected world. Owner Deb Brown teaches us how to connect with and appreciate our clients on a more personal level. Her strategies for keeping in touch and showing appreciation are helping businesses attract and retain valued clients. Deb knows the importance of the human side of business and keeps an eye on the way her own brand is reflected back to the world. I have known Deb for a while now through our membership in WIN (Women in Networking), but I learned even more about this “gifted” woman from our time together during her photo session. She needed new, professional images to use in her marketing because she is in the middle of big changes. Deb is currently working on a new book as well as rebranding and relaunching her programs. In our consultation on her upcoming shoot, she asked specifically for photos that related to these words: authentic, caring, professional, polished and elegant. I could tell Deb really understood her brand personality. Our photo shoot took place at Centennial Lakes Office Park in Edina. I brought along talented makeup artist Gretl Irina who added some skilled touches to the polished and elegant look Deb was bringing to the session. To add variety to the poses we had some fun with props, as well as including two of Deb’s friends who helped out by posing as clients. After Deb saw her photos she said she had a hard time making her selections because she loved them all. What follows are some of the shots Deb felt she “could not live without,” along with a review Deb gave summing up her photo session experience.
Here is what Deb wrote about our session: “Before Laine snapped a single picture, I knew she was worth every penny. I hired her to do a branding session for me and she took the time to talk to me about what kind of image I wanted to portray. Then she helped me choose the outfits that would best portray that image. The day of the photo shoot, she provided professional makeup so I would look my best. The day was fun and the pictures turned out amazing! It was so hard to narrow down my favorites because they were all so good. ” - Deb Brown
