Teresa and I go back a few years now. I volunteer at her Networking Organization (MN WIN) providing Advertising Sales and Marketing Support (placing me back in my original professional field, since I attended Marketing School, in Brazil).

Additionally, I have photographed a number of events organized by WIN, and several others where Teresa was a presenter/keynote speaker. I have seen her captivate entire rooms with her honest and inspired approach to network.

I am by no means a natural networker, but I have learned a lot by watching how she leads, enters/exits and maximizes conversations with the most varied number of individuals, especially women. It's a gift, really.

And I think I can speak for both of us when I say our relationship and friendship are based on mutual trust, respect and deep admiration. I feel grateful for, and benefit tremendously from being connected to her, and assisting her with her business, while she is grateful for my support and work ethic. We like to say that our collaborations are a "WIN-WIN". ;)

Recently, Teresa set out to finish her book and I'm proud to say I was a part of that in a few ways, but most of all, I was very excited to be a part of it by providing her with her author photo. (When she asked me for it, I was like, YEAH!)

When these posted on Facebook,  the compliments amounted quickly. Obviously, she is very connected, and not surprisingly, she is also very well-liked. The response to her photos were a direct reflection of that.
