It is no secret that I love when my clients invite me into their lovely homes for a photo shoot. I can really get a feel for their personality and it keeps my job ever interesting when I shoot at all kinds of different locations! For Laura's session, we photographed in her beautiful Plymouth home, right in her living room.

Laura Brandt thrives when working with nonprofits on donor engagement strategies. Our photo shoot, however, was to create exciting pictures for her new business venture, where she will be helping these organizations to maximize their online presence by building valuable connections on LinkedIn. Laura shared with me that she will be writing content and providing consultation and training to her clients.

One thing that was so fun about working with Laura was her openness to trying all the clothes and jewelry I requested. She was easy to pose and the camera loved her. Her makeup was done by Meg Hume, one of my favorite makeup artists here in the Twin Cities.

Laura knew exactly what she wanted, and we collaborated to create a shot list prior to us shooting. This step really helped things move along smoothly during the session.

When Laura was deciding on which photos to choose she looked to those who knew her well for help. Sometimes it can be challenging to look through all the shots and zero in on the best ones, so it was a great idea to get outside help from those who really know her. I was so pleased when she shared that she didn't know she could look like this, and that her friends all thought the pictures were beautiful!

I really appreciated working with Laura because she values quality and wanted a photographer who would give her direction on how to pose and what to do; someone who would pay attention to all details. It is truly rewarding to work with people who trust me to deliver what they need, so, THANK YOU, Laura! I appreciate you.
