Carol and Scotty Morgan are the winners of my Valentine’s Day Mini Photo Session Promo, but I see how they are winners of so much more because they have found each other. And me, I am SO happy that I got to capture their love and special relationship in photos!

The day started off with the couple dropping their kids, Mia and Drew, off with Scotty's parents, and joining me at Springbrook Nature Center in Blaine. The session was short and fun, and I had NO idea Scotty would be so funny! He had everyone laughing for the whole session, especially when he pranked me with leaves (I made the mistake of telling him I am terrified of bugs, so imagine how I freaked out!).

They told me that the last time they had professional photos done was at their wedding, 17 years ago. Carol also told me she just knew their story would win the Valentine's Day Promo - talk about setting the intention! When I asked what she would like me to capture with the photos, she requested that the images show the love she and Scotty have for each other.  As you will see by the final photos, that was not so hard.

Carol is one of those people who just radiate warmth when they enter a room. She contributes to the world through her business, Live Pure Vida, where she is a Healthy Living coach. Scotty gives back through his profession as a police officer, but on this day, they were there just to relax and have fun.

The weather at the park was warm, even though it's March and the sun was not out. I would like to think because the Morgans brought their own sunshine! I had a great time getting to know them a little better, and I hope you will join me in wishing them many more happy years in their life together.
