It's vital for me, as a small business owner, to be surrounded by like-minded entrepreneurs.

Providing professional headshots is a natural fit for my business because I am frequently in touch with these professionals. This type of service became a big thing for me for this reason, and I absolutely love that I get to photograph amazing people.

That's what brought Amy and I together, after many networking events.

Right away I knew Amy was one of those people who can light up any room. Her smile is genuine, her presence is uplifting and her life story inspiring.

I have watched closely as her business (MüD Modular Displays) skyrocketed over the past couple of years, and she became wildly successful. It was no surprise to anyone, I am sure, and quite exciting to see someone fully step into what they have always been meant to do.

As an inventor, Amy is innovative, which is embedded into her design-focused and energetic brand. I worked with that concept to create a headshot that portrays all the awesome things she does.

Photographing Amy was so much fun! She lives in Wisconsin, but is always around Minneapolis, so we photographed at her sister's beautiful home in Woodbury. We laughed and joked throughout the whole session. Here are some of my favorite shots:

This is what Amy said about her experience:

"My session with Laine was relaxed, filled with laughter and so much fun! I received too many compliments to count. Thank you for working your magic, Laine!"

It's always great to be around you, Amy! I think your photos are awesome! Thanks for choosing me as your photographer.

All my best,
